Northtown Mall

This mall is situated in one of the fastest growing cities in Minnesota, Blaine.  It can be found at the intersection of Highways 10 and 47.  Northtown is conveniently situated only 20 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and this allows it access to the thousands of vehicles which travel on those highways surrounding it daily.  It receives visitors in excess of 5.5 million annually.  A recent multi-million dollar expansion project was completed at the mall recently.  This renovation tripled the food court size, and renovations were done to the entrances, common areas and the signage.

Trading Region

The mall is located at the intersection of County Road 10, University Avenue and Highway 47, and offers travelers easy access to St Paul and Minneapolis.  The mall gains visibility from around 41000 vehicles each day.

There is a strong commercial and industrial sector in the area.  The area is home to more than 1660 businesses, including the global headquarters of both Medtronic and Aveda Corporation.  

There are 11 industrial parks, good highway access, competitive land pricing, a very large and strong labor market and it has experienced a rise in the issuance of housing permits.  Blaine also houses the National Sports Center which is the largest global sports and meeting complex of its kind.  The sporting events held here ensure that in excess of four million visitors reach the area on an annual basis.
