New ownership and revitalization

Scotch & Soda was acquired by New York-based brand management company Bluestar Alliance a year ago. The reopening in the UK is spearheaded by Victor Barbosa, a seasoned South African business owner with 13 years of experience working closely with the label. Barbosa is credited for successfully managing Scotch & Soda in South Africa and brings substantial expertise to this renewed partnership.

The journey back to Carnaby street

Victor Barbosa expressed enthusiasm about bringing Scotch & Soda back to Carnaby Street, describing it as an exciting journey. The store aims to deliver a fresh and inviting shopping experience that encapsulates the essence of the brand.

Vibrant shopping experience

Shaun Els, Barbosa’s business partner, highlighted their vision to create a space that not only showcases the brand’s unique collections but also fosters a vibrant atmosphere for customers to feel inspired. The store’s design features pops of color that resonate with Scotch & Soda’s eclectic style, blending seamlessly with the lively environment of Carnaby Street.

The store offers a comprehensive range of menswear, womenswear, accessories, and footwear, aiming to cater to diverse consumer preferences. Under Bluestar Alliance, Scotch & Soda joins a portfolio of brands that includes Hurley, Elie Tahari, Brookstone, Justice, bebe, and Limited Too.
